Revisionist Writers

Greg Mitchell from Editor & Publisher holds Richard Cohen of the Washington Post acountable for backing President's Bush's bogus call to war.

Greg writes:

Richard Cohen, the longtime Washington Post columnist sometimes accused of being a “liberal,” produced a strong column today, titled “Bush Wanted War.” In it he said he had long been skeptical of this idea, but now had come to accept it. That’s all well and good, but where was Cohen a little more than three years ago, when this fact was as plain as the smirk on the president’s face, and the columnist agitated for war anyway?

If there was an “I’m sorry for being so stupid” embedded in Cohen’s column I didn’t spot it.

To bad Mr. Cohen is not holding himself accountable.

Read the whole thing.

Please be careful you don't cross the line into antisemitism. I don't approve of some of the links you provide.

I contacted Mr. Cohen before the invasion of Iraq and gave him all the information that I had gathered, which included the British newspapers discovery that Colin Powell's presentation before the UN was based on an 11 year old student thesis.

Mr. Cohen did not listen. As a former head of the CIA said, I think it was Bill Casey, most prominent American journalists are CIA assests. And the rest appear to work for the "Israel Lobby" though I would venture to guess, given the attacks on the Walt/Mearsheimer study, that many prominent American journalists work for both.

Again, every single person in the world should read the Walt/Mearsheimer study "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy" because a war against Iran by USrael will kill us all.

BTW: Noam Chomsky's statements on the study, in which he defends the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, proves that he's an apologist for Israel.
